Ovaseed America

Incorporated in 2019, Ovaseed America has achieved a 5-year cooperative agreement with the USDA-Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Trout Program in Hagerman Idaho, This USA government entity has been actively selecting rainbow trout for nine generations in 20 years, to improve the use of foods based on plant-based protein concentrates.

These fish, compared to other strains, also grow faster with conventional feeds, have higher feed utilization and demonstrate a higher level of resistance to pathogens
